Key takeaways
- InSpace.io is a managed content and SEO/GEO production service priced per page output ($1,000 to $6,900+/mo). Profound and Scrunch are mainly measurement platforms. Comparing them head to head is apples to oranges.
- Profound's public pricing page and its in-app checkout disagree. Starter ($99/mo, ChatGPT only) is a preview. Growth ($399/mo) is the realistic entry point, and Enterprise is custom.
- Scrunch AI was acquired by Sitecore in June 2026. Core is $250/mo for 4 engines; 9 engines, SSO, API and AXP need Enterprise.
- The enterprise premium buys engine coverage, SSO/SOC 2, API access and support. It does not buy crawler access to your site, and none of these tools replaces that.
- Most teams under 5 seats or 100 prompts should skip Enterprise and start on a mid tier or a cheaper tracker.
What you are actually comparing
The title of this guide is slightly unfair to everyone involved, and I'd rather say so up front. Three tools show up on the same shortlists, but they do different jobs.
Profound and Scrunch tell you how your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and other engines. InSpace.io produces content. Its NOVA engine automates content, structure and publishing, aimed at long-tail demand and GEO visibility. It is a service, closer to an agency retainer than a dashboard.
So "is the enterprise premium worth it" has three different answers:
- For Profound and Scrunch, the premium is about engine coverage, compliance, API access and support.
- For InSpace, the premium is about managed content volume and multi-country coverage.
Let's take each in turn, then look at the numbers.
Profound: the independent heavyweight
Profound is the name most enterprise shortlists start with. Search Influence reports $155M in total funding and a $1B valuation, and it remains independent, unlike Scrunch.
Pricing, and why you should verify it
The public brand pricing page shows a 7-day free trial and a custom Enterprise tier. The agency tab shows Agency Growth at $99/mo plus $399/mo per full client workspace. Third-party write-ups of the in-app checkout (SlateHQ, Otterly, Maintouch) describe something different:
- Starter: $99/mo, 50 prompts, ChatGPT only, 1 seat, about 1,500 responses a month.
- Growth: $399/mo, 100 prompts, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, 3 seats, about 9,000 responses a month, CSV/JSON export.
- Both are billed annually only ($1,188 and $4,788 a year).
These are third-party reports, and they conflict with the public page. Confirm the billing term and plan limits with Profound before you budget. Also note that Starter at ChatGPT only is a limited preview. Growth is where the product starts to look like an enterprise tool.
What Enterprise adds
Enterprise is custom and includes SSO/SAML, SOC 2, API access, and a dedicated Slack, email or specialist contact with a 24-hour SLA. Engine count is reported as 9, 10 or 11 depending on the source, so ask for the current list in writing. Third parties estimate roughly $2,000 to $5,000+ a month (Maintouch) or "low thousands" (Otterly). Neither is a vendor figure, and Otterly sells a competing product.
Profound has also been shipping beyond monitoring: Workflows for content operations, Agent Analytics with WordPress and GCP integrations, HIPAA compliance, shopping analysis and 30+ language support. It was also named a representative vendor in Gartner's 2026 Market Guide for Answer Engine Visibility Tools.
Scrunch AI: now a Sitecore company
Scrunch built its name as an early enterprise tracker. Sitecore acquired it in June 2026. Search Influence reports a June 3 close at roughly $225M, but that figure comes from a single secondary source, so treat it as unconfirmed.
Pricing
Per Geotoolbox's August 2026 review:
- Core: $250/mo. Four engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Copilot), 125 prompts, 3 personas, 5 site audits a month, 5 user licenses, 7-day trial with no card.
- Enterprise: quote only. Nine engines (adds Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, AI Mode and Grok), SSO, dedicated team, annual prepay with about two months free.
- AXP, API and Looker Studio are Enterprise only.
For agencies, seoClarity lists Agency Core at $500/mo and Brand Core at $250 per brand per month.
Scrunch has a couple of things Profound lacks at the entry level: persona and language modeling, funnel analysis, and AI bot traffic tracking. Refresh is about every three days, not daily, which matters if you watch volatile prompts.
The AXP question
AXP generates an AI-optimized version of your site for agents. Profound-aligned critics call it risky and unproven. AirOps frames it as a fit for teams that want agent-facing content delivery. I'd treat it as an experiment to scope carefully with your SEO lead, not a default. Also ignore the "4.7% visibility" stat circulating in a Profound-friendly comparison. It is unverified.
The bigger buying question is the Sitecore deal. Scrunch still operates standalone, but pricing and roadmap can shift after an acquisition. If you sign a multi-year Enterprise prepay, ask what happens to the contract if the product is folded into Sitecore's suite.

InSpace.io: a different category
InSpace publishes list prices per month, with discounts for longer terms and upfront payment:
| Plan | List price | Output |
|---|---|---|
| Stratosphere | $1,000/mo | 10 pages/month of long-tail and question content, personal onboarding |
| Milky Way (most popular) | $1,700/mo | 20 pages/month, category hubs and service pages |
| Universe | $3,000/mo | 40 pages/month, location landing pages, automated scaling, dedicated content strategist |
| Multiverse | From $6,900/mo | 4+ countries, local SEO and GEO per market and language, reporting by country |
Discounts of 10%, 20% or 30% apply for yearly upfront, two-year terms or both. That puts the lowest displayed prices at roughly $700, $1,190 and $2,100 a month for the first three plans. The page's price strings are ambiguous, so treat that mapping as approximate.
Here the premium is volume and geography. You pay more for more pages and for per-market coverage. I couldn't find independent reviews of InSpace, or documentation of how it measures AI visibility itself. That is a gap. If you are considering it, ask for sample pages, a reporting example, and how they prove an output lifted citations.

Where the premium is worth it
When Enterprise tracking pays off
The Search Influence piece lists sensible triggers, and I agree with most of them. Pay for an enterprise tier when you track multiple brands, product lines or markets, need coverage across five or more engines, report AI KPIs to leadership, or your security team requires SSO and SOC 2. Seat limits also push you there: Profound Growth stops at 3 seats and Scrunch Core at 5.
If none of that is true, the premium buys you a nicer contract, not better data.
When it isn't
A single brand tracking 50 to 150 prompts across four engines does not need a $2,000+ a month contract. OtterlyAI Standard is $189/mo for 100 prompts on 4 engines, though Otterly sells that, so verify. The AI rank tracking directory lists dozens of cheaper trackers if you want to shop around.
The InSpace premium has a different test: can you actually publish 20 to 40 good pages a month yourself? If yes, you are paying for labor you already have. If no, a managed service can be reasonable, but only if you also have measurement in place to see what the pages do.
The part none of them fixes: crawler access
Before spending anything on visibility software or content volume, check that AI crawlers can read your site. Promptwatch Data's AI crawler traffic report uses IP-verified requests, so spoofed user agents are excluded. It shows OpenAI at 79.8% of verified AI crawler requests in Aug 31 to Sep 6, 2026, down from 94.8% in Jun 8 to 14, 2026. The advice is simple: check robots.txt, CDN and WAF rules for every major provider, and compare your own logs with that mix. A provider that is large overall but near zero in your logs suggests you are blocked.
No dashboard, however expensive, helps if the bots can't fetch your pages. And pages you publish through InSpace won't get cited if they sit behind a WAF rule that blocks GPTBot.
An alternative that combines measurement and action
If the real choice is between a tracker and a content service, there is a middle path. Promptwatch pairs prompt tracking with IP-verified crawler logs, AI visitor analytics and a Content Agent that writes and publishes to Webflow, Framer or WordPress. Plans run from $95/mo (Essential) to $579/mo (Business) with a custom Enterprise tier, so confirm current pricing at promptwatch.com/pricing.

For more options, the GEO software directory covers the wider field.
How to decide
- Do you need pages written? If yes and you have no capacity, evaluate InSpace, and ask for proof of citation outcomes.
- Do you need measurement across many markets or brands with SSO and SOC 2? Get Profound Enterprise and Scrunch Enterprise quotes side by side.
- Are you a single brand testing the channel? Start on Profound Growth or Scrunch Core, or a cheaper tracker, and revisit after a quarter.
- Are you signing with Scrunch? Ask about Sitecore roadmap commitments and exit terms.
- Whoever you pick, audit crawler access first.

The honest verdict: Profound's Enterprise tier is worth it for large, multi-market brands with compliance needs. Scrunch's is worth it if you want its agent-facing approach and can live with acquisition uncertainty. InSpace's top tiers are worth it only when you would otherwise hire writers. Everyone else should pay for the mid tier and spend the savings on fixing the site.
